This is what Pakistan wants – BJP releases Digvijaya Singh’s audio on Art 370, Congress leader hits back

Digvijaya Singh made the alleged comments in response to a question asked by a Pakistani journalist during a discussion on social media app Clubhouse. He later issued a clarification, saying some leaders do not understand the difference between ‘shall’ and ‘consider’.

The BJP on Saturday took on the Congress over senior leader Digvijaya Singh’s statement that his party will reconsider the decision on Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir if it is elected to power at the Centre.

Singh made the alleged comments in response to a question asked by a Pakistani journalist during a discussion on social media app Clubhouse. The leaked audio of the discussion was shared on Twitter by BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya.

“In a Club House chat, Rahul Gandhi’s top aide Digvijaya Singh tells a Pakistani journalist that if Congress comes to power they will reconsider the decision of abrogating Article 370. Really?” Malviya tweeted.

“This is what Pakistan wants,” the BJP IT cell head added.
