Ingredients of Pottalam Biryani

half of tablespoon ginger paste
1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
chopped coriander leaves as required
1 cinnamon stick

How to make Pottalam Biryani
Step 1 Marinate hen pieces
In a bowl, add curd, garam masala, red chili powder, kashmiri purple chili, curd, 1 tbsp oil, ginger paste, garlic paste, and biryani masala. Combine all of them and then upload inside the hen pieces. Make sure you wash and easy the chicken pieces. Also, the pieces must get covered nicely with the marinade. Keep it apart for at least an hour.

Step 2 Cook the soaked rice
In a pan, add 1 half litre water after which add cloves, cardamom, mint leaves, and a few coriander leaves. Let it come to a boil and then upload soaked rice. Season it with salt and additionally add 1/4 tsp oil. Cook the rice for about 8-10 mins. Once cooked, drain the water and keep it aside.
