How to make Corn Tahiri
Wash the rice and absorb water for 10 minutes.
Cut the beans into 5″ pieces. Dice the potatoes.
Cut the carrot into little dices. Finely hack the tomatoes and cut the onions.
Heat oil in a weighty lined container.
Add the cloves, cinnamon and the cardamoms and cook for 30 seconds or till fragrant.
Add the cut onions and cook for 4-5 minutes, it are cooked to mix sporadically till the onions.
Add the turmeric powder, red bean stew powder, garam masala, salt and tomatoes and blend well. Add the vegetables and the corn parts and blend well.
Add the rice and blend well. Cook for 4-5 minutes blending continually, till each grain is all around covered and shimmers.
Add 1 liter water and heat to the point of boiling on high fire. Decrease the fire, cover and cook for 15 minutes or till the rice is finished.
Eliminate from fire and let represent 5 minutes.
Serve hot with a cool raita, new coriander chutney and poppadum.
