Mercedes-Benz GLA And AMG GLA 35 Launched In India; Starting From ₹ 42.10 Lakh

Mercedes-Benz has officially released the new-generation GLA range in India. The lineup includes both the standard GLA, as well as the performance-spec AMG GLA 35 models, which are priced between ₹ 42.10 lakh and ₹ 57.30 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The company has also said that these are introductory prices and the GLA range will see an upward revision of up to ₹ 1.5 lakh from July 1, 2021. The new Mercedes-Benz GLA will be available across India in accordance with local economic activities and adhering to all local guidelines, and on the company’s digital stores.

Both the regular and the AMG version of the new-gen Mercedes-Benz GLA comes to India through the CKD (Completely Knocked-Down) route. This makes the AMG GLA 35 4Matic the third locally assembled AMG model from the company after the AMG GLC 43 Coupe, and the AMG A 35 sedan. The standard GLA comes in three variants – GLA 200 ( ₹ 42.10 lakh), GLA 220d ( ₹ 43.7 lakh), and GLA 220d 4Matic ( ₹ 46.7 lakhs). The former two are offered in Progressive Line trim and the 220d 4matic in AMG-Line trim. As for the AMG GLA 35, it is priced at ₹ 57.30 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom, India).
