Mercedes-Benz has officially released the new-generation GLA range in India. The lineup includes both the standard GLA, as well as the performance-spec AMG GLA 35 models, which are priced between ₹ 42.10 lakh and ₹ 57.30 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The company has also said that these are introductory prices and the GLA range will see an upward revision of up to ₹ 1.5 lakh from July 1, 2021. The former two are offered in Progressive Line trim and the 220d 4matic in AMG-Line trim. As for the AMG GLA 35, it is priced at ₹ 57.30 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom, India).
New GLA range, Martin Schwenk, MD & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India said, “The new GLA which has grown to be more aggressive, bold-looking and tech-laden than ever before, has been a much-awaited product for customers. The SUV now also comes as a locally manufactured AMG with the AMG GLA 35 4M, our third AMG model. In addition, the industry best 8-year extended warranty on engine and transmission makes the GLA and AMG GLA 35 4M compelling products, driving complete peace of mind. We are offering these products for our discerning customers across markets where economic activities continue.”
