Serves: 2 – three

Dalia – Broken wheat – ¾ cup
Onion – 1 chopped
Tomato – 1 chopped
Carrot – 1 chopped
Capsicum – 1 chopped
Green chili – 1 or 2 chopped
Curry leaves – 5-6
Garlic cloves – 3-4 chopped
Ghee – 1 tbsp
Oil – 2 tsp
Dry purple chili – 1
Bay leaf – 1
Hing – a pinch
Red chili powder – ½ -1tsp
Coriander powder – ½ tsp
Turmeric – ¼ tsp
Garam masala – ¼ tsp
Salt in line with taste – 1.Five tsp
Water – 2 cup for cooking
Coriander leaves for garnishing ( optional )

Instructions ( 1 cup = 250 ml, 1 tbsp = 15 ml, 1 tsp = 5 ml)
Wash the Dalia and soak it in enough water for 30 min.
Meanwhile, chop the greens.

Heat a pan. Add ghee and oil.

Add mustard seeds. When they begin to crackle add cumin seeds.
When they splutter upload hing. Add dry purple chili, bay leaf, inexperienced chili, curry leaves, and garlic cloves.

Add 2 cup water. Bring to boil.
Cover & cook dinner on sluggish flame.
