¾ cup margarine, liquefied
1 cup white sugar
1 egg

2 cups regular flour
2 teaspoons baking pop
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground cloves
½ teaspoon ground ginger

Molasses Cookies
Directions
Stage 1
In a medium bowl, combine as one the liquefied margarine, 1 cup sugar, and egg until smooth.
Mix in the molasses. Join the flour, baking pop, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger; mix into the molasses blend. Cover, and chill mixture for 60 minutes.
Stage 2
Preheat stove to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Fold batter into pecan measured balls, and roll them in the leftover white sugar.
Place treats 2 inches separated onto ungreased baking sheets.
Stage 3
Prepare for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated stove, until tops are broken. Cool on wire racks.
