4 medium onion
2 branches coriander leaves
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
6 pieces green chillies
salt as required
4 tablespoon refined oil
1 teaspoon dry mango powder
2 cup chana dal
20 leaves curry leaves
2 teaspoon red bean stew powder
2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
Instructions to make Sindhi Dal
In any case, wash dal until water tells the truth. Drench chana dal in 4 cups of water for 2 hours. Take a slashing board and cleave onions and green chilies.
Channel the water and move chana dal to a strain cooker. Add 4 cups of water, turmeric powder and salt. Heat the strain cooker and after one whistle turn down the fire and cook it for 7-8 minutes. Switch off the burner after 5-6 whistles.
In the mean time, in another container, heat oil. Saute onions and cumin seeds until onions become brilliant brown in variety. Blend in green chillies, curry leaves, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp red stew powder and saute the fixings.
When the dal is cooked, add red bean stew powder and garam masala alongside dry mango powder. Then, add the onion blend.
