Bao buns are a popular Chinese street food, similar to a sandwich and regularly packed with braised meat, or chicken. They’ve grow to be more popular inside the West in recent years and are an increasing number of available at eating places, meals vehicles and all over.

1 tsp garlic powder
1 half tbsp sugar or agave
half tsp onion powder (non-obligatory)
1 tbsp nutritional yeast (optionally available)
For the Salsa Macha:
1/2 cup (50g) gently roasted peanuts
6 tbsp (30g) Korean chili flakes
1/4 cup (30g) fresh garlic, more or less chopped
4 tbsp toasted sesame oil
eight tbsp more virgin olive oil
1 tsp pink Himalayan sea salt
1 tsp floor cumin
1 tsp brown sugar
half of tsp floor cinnamon
Directions:
To make the Bao Buns:
Five. Divide into 8 equally sized portions. Use your fingers and the desk to form them into balls.
