Ingredients
2 cups uncooked pasta (about 8 oz), together with elbow macaroni, cavatappi or shells
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1-half cups 1/2-and-half cream
three/four pound procedure cheese (Velveeta), cubed
Optional toppings: Fresh arugula, halved cherry tomatoes and coarsely floor pepper
How to Make Skillet Mac & Cheese
Directions
Cook pasta in step with bundle instructions; drain.
Meanwhile, in a big solid iron or other heavy skillet, melt butter over medium warmth. Stir in flour until smooth; step by step whisk in cream. Bring to a boil, stirring continuously. Cook and stir till thickened, about 2 minutes. Reduce warmth; stir in cheese till melted.
Add macaroni; cook dinner and stir till heated thru. Top as preferred.
